Description
Acetaldehyde (ethanal, CH₃CHO) LR grade. Used in organic synthesis as a building block for aldol condensation and preparation of longer-chain alcohols, and as a solvent for certain resins and cellulose acetate. Highly volatile and flammable with a boiling point of 20°C; store refrigerated and handle in a fume hood. LR grade is suitable for preparative synthetic applications.
