Filtech Grade 486 is a binder-free low-metals glass fibre filter for applications where metallic contamination must be minimised. The low-metals specification makes it suitable for trace element analysis, environmental monitoring, and water quality testing where residual metals in standard glass fibre papers would compromise results. Medium fast flow with 1.1µm retention. Equivalent to Whatman GF/B for trace metal applications.
