1-Hexanesulfonic acid sodium salt monohydrate (C₆H₁₃SO₃Na·H₂O) HPLC grade. An ion-pairing reagent used in reversed-phase HPLC to improve retention and separation of basic amines, quaternary ammonium compounds, and other cationic analytes on C18 or C8 columns. HPLC grade ensures low UV absorbance at 254 nm, permitting use with UV detection without baseline interference.
