1,8-Diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) 98%. A strong, non-nucleophilic amidine base used in organic synthesis to promote elimination reactions, deprotonation of weakly acidic C-H bonds, and as a catalyst in Michael additions and acylation reactions. Its bicyclic structure prevents N-alkylation, making it suitable for base-catalysed reactions where nucleophilicity would be problematic. 98% purity is suitable for research and synthetic applications.
