1,4-Butanediol (BDO, HOCH₂(CH₂)₂CH₂OH) LR grade. A diol used as a precursor in synthesis of polyurethane and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) polymers in research applications, as a plasticiser and humectant in formulation studies, and as a reaction solvent in selected organic transformations. LR grade is suitable for preparative and research laboratory applications.
