Description
1,2-Dichloroethane (ethylene dichloride, ClCH₂CH₂Cl) AR grade in glass bottle. A polar chlorinated solvent used in extraction of organic compounds, as a reaction solvent in condensation reactions, and as a reference standard solvent in GC and NMR. Glass packaging avoids plastic-leached impurities for sensitive analytical work. AR grade ensures low water and impurity content. Toxic and suspected carcinogen; handle in a fume hood with appropriate PPE.
