Description
Copper(II) sulphate pentahydrate (CuSO4·5H2O) AR grade. UNIVAR is Ajax's AR-equivalent brand. Used in the preparation of Fehling's and Benedict's solutions for reducing sugar detection, as a copper ion source for EDTA complexometric titrations, in AAS copper standard preparation, and as a catalyst in organic synthesis. AR grade ensures low iron and chloride content for sensitive colorimetric and titrimetric methods.
