Filtech Grade 1440 is a silicone-treated cellulose phase-separation filter paper that allows organic solvents to pass freely while retaining aqueous solutions. Eliminates the need for a separating funnel in liquid–liquid extraction workflows. Simply fold and place in a funnel — the organic phase drains through while the aqueous phase is retained above. Widely used in environmental analysis, food testing, and synthetic chemistry workups.
