Acetone (propan-2-one, CH3COCH3) AR grade. UNIVAR is Ajax's AR-equivalent brand. Used as a laboratory rinsing and degreasing solvent, in solvent extraction, and as a co-solvent in UV-visible spectrophotometry and HPLC. AR grade ensures low water content, low residue on evaporation, and low UV absorbance for analytical applications. Highly flammable — store away from ignition sources.
