Ammonia solution (NH3 aq.) 25% w/w AR grade, larger pack size. Used as a base in acid-base titrimetry, in preparation of pH 10 ammonia-ammonium chloride buffer for EDTA hardness titrations, in Kjeldahl nitrogen distillation, and for precipitation of metal hydroxides. AR grade ensures very low heavy metal and carbonate content. Pungent and corrosive — use in a fume cupboard.
